This spring’s, Edible Complex, explores food, packaging, and consumerism, and while edible consumables comprise the subject matter of pieces in the exhibition, food will be the medium used for this class. Sugar sculptor artist, Carolyn Panzica (whose pieces were in the previous exhibitions, Art in Craft Media 2011 and An Overabundance of Detail), leads this unique painting and sculpture class. Participants will use royal icing and food coloring to draw and paint three dimensional scenes on canvases of fondant that will dry hard and can then be hung as pieces of art.
This class runs for two Thursday Evenings: March 29 & April 5 (6:30-8:30).
