How do you select works of art that support your teaching lessons? In the exhibition, The Artists Among Us II artworks included are from a wide variety of subjects, media, and technique. The teacher workshop, Building the Main Idea: Selecting Diverse Artworks to Support Classroom Lessons, is interactive for participants. Learn on how to use a variety of artworks, created by different artists, with a range of ages, and multitude of art backgrounds to build a central idea with the main concept guiding the selection process. The MET Connections, where museum staff guides the visitor throughout The Metropolitan Museum of Art, will be viewed.
