Odyssey featuring the Buffalo Chamber Players

To highlight the opening night of the Community Gallery exhibition and culmination of the Odyssey project, iXpress artists composed an original piece of music for seven-piece chamber ensemble (flute, bassoon, trumpet, trombone, violin, viola, and cello). The musical component of Odyssey is comprised of three short movements entitled “Leaving Home”, “The Path” and “The Return.” Composing Odyssey involved the selection of interested and dedicated iXpress musicians and artists who collaborated with each other and with art facilitators to create new musical material.
