Anthony J. Sisti Gallery

Anthony J. Sisti’s career included boxing, painting, teaching and dealing art from his own commercial gallery in Buffalo’s Allentown neighborhood. In 1979, he donated 33 works on paper by Charles E. Burchfield and 32 paintings and drawings by himself to our museum, at which time a gallery space for Burchfield’s art was established in Sisti’s name.
