There are many ways that Buffalo State College students can become involved with the Burchfield Penney including volunteer and internship opportunities as well as program collaborations through college faculty and departments.
The BPAC (Burchfield Penney Art Center) Street Team
The purpose of the BPAC Street Team is to provide Buffalo State College students experience in and access to museum programs, operations and education. The organization was formed in fall 2010 with active members of all majors. The BPAC Street Team leads college outreach initiatives, and members serve as student advocates for the museum. We meet every week during the academic year and organize field trips, guest speaker engagements and student events. For an application, please email the Burchfield Penney.
Internships
Internships for course credit are arranged by individual staff members. Please contact the staff member with a cover letter, resume and copy of the internship requirements to be considered.
Work Study positions
The museum offers a limited number of work study positions. If you are interested in applying, please contact the Burchfield Penney at 716-878-6012 or by email before the start of the semester.
