Bianca McGraw is a multimedia installation and performance artist, poet and educator who explores themes of cultural issues, politics, identity and diversity. Her art encompasses multiple avenues such as sculpture, design, installation, video and performance to spark discussion about these issues, opening the door for viewers to reflect on personal, communal and societal experiences, exchange understanding with others, and be exposed to diverse perspectives.
As a Higher Education Advocate, she works as a community development and engagement facilitator and diversity presenter. She currently works at SUNY Buffalo State as a Complex Director and Residential Social Service Coordinator. She has facilitated workshops, trainings and presentations on a number of topics related to diversity, microaggressions, empowerment and professional development.
