     Trip to Sherwoods (sic) –

     Impressions –

     Start in Snow storm –

     Fleeting woods – red faced hunters – a yellow sulphur (sic) creek black edge, thru filmy ochre fields – Washingtonville + Leetonia the furnace towns – Huge blast furnace in snow – North Lima + its church steeple

     Youngstown – On the bridge – the furnaces – railroads – oily river – a sharp whistle from a factory – trainload of molten iron (with its) sharp loud deliberate exhaust goes under culvert + noise stops dead, only to burst out again – this it repeats several times – in beautiful contrast another train of freight comes rolling along with a more rapid softer puffing – The two coins by doorway,
