Coni Minneci , Marguerite Thompson Zorach (1887-1968), 2003-2006; oil on panel, 9 x 12 inches; Courtesy of the Artist
She and her husband William, often painted on both sides of a canvas. Their work reflected the creative force of the Fauves and Cubists, with its new ideology and arrangement of form and color. And as a tribute to her husband, my husband, Jim agreed to try a hand at painting a portion of Marguerite’s composition. This tribute: A farewell to the A-Z Series!
