"I have been collecting beads for well over fifty years. They are reminders of places around the world I, or generous friends, have visited. When I string a necklace, I approach the process as if I were creating a painting: line, shape, color and texture become the most important elements. I hope that my necklaces will afford joy and inspiration for those who wear them." Helga MacKinnon
