Watercolor painting is the inspiration for drawing in this creative workshop. Participants will learn how to use watercolor as a starting point for a drawing with pencil and ink. Experiment with traditional watercolor techniques combined with the drawn image. Materials will be supplies or feel free to bring your own paints. Level for Participanting: All welcome.
Becky Koenig is an artist, author and educator. She has exhibited her works at many galleries, including the Burchfield Penney Art Center , Hallwalls, Anderson Gallery, and Nichols School. She is the author of Color Workbook, a textbook on color published by Prentice Hall. She has taught studio art courses at local colleges and currently is an administrator and instructor in the Department of Visual Studies at the University at Buffalo.
