Hosted Event  |  SOLD OUT: WNY Business Leadership Forum presents the Buffalo Brewing Phenomenon

This event is SOLD OUT.

Wednesday, May 7, 2014, 3–5 pm

Peter and Elizabeth C. Tower Auditorium

This event is SOLD OUT.

The Business Leadership Forum is designed to bring together the leaders of Western New York companies to discuss critical challenges and topics of relevance. Local business executives typically present case studies from their own companies while accounting, legal, insurance, technology, consulting and international trade professionals are on hand to answer questions regarding specific issues. The early morning short-program agenda is efficiently managed leaving time for networking beforehand and after. Past topics have included strategic growth and disaster recovery planning.

The forum is presented through the collaborative efforts of EscapeWire Solutions, Lumsden & McCormick, LLP, Jaeckle Fleischmann & Mugel, LLP, Insyte Consulting, Vanner Insurance Agency, UB School of Management Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership and World Trade Center Buffalo Niagara.

According to a recent report by the American Brewers Association, New York State craft brewers ranked number three nationally in 2012, generating an economic impact of $2.2 billion.

This growing industry segment is at the centerpiece of major development projects in downtown Buffalo, and the region is quickly gaining recognition as a quality destination for craft beer enthusiasts. It’s the perfect complement to a region focused on sports- and with a local supply and delivery model, the region’s microbreweries are gaining increased momentum as core economic contributors.

Join us for a panel discussion with representatives from area microbreweries, and a complimentary beer tasting in celebration of five years of outstanding Business Leadership Forum programming.
