Artist Lisa Karrer and Stitch Buffalo invite you to a virtual hands-on workshop, inspired by a ceramic form from Karrer’s SHELTER exhibit at the Burchfield Penney. This event will be on Zoom, Wednesday May 26, from 7-9 pm.
Stitch Buffalo director Dawne Hoeg will teach participants how to construct this soft-felt patch, using appliqué and basic embroidery stitches. Karrer will also be on-hand, to stitch along and talk a bit about the exhibit.
Wear your SHELTER patch as a pin, display it on a bag or backpack, or make a gift for someone you love.
All participants will receive a complete kit from Stitch Buffalo, containing all the materials you need for this two-hour event. Kits can be picked up locally, or Stitch Buffalo will gladly ship one to you. Please note: Registration is limited. If you want to have a kit shipped to you, the deadline to register is Wednesday May 12.
