Executive Director of the Burchfield Penney Tony Bannon reprises his popular talk on Buffalo's famed DJ George "Hound Dog" Lorenz.

Known by many as "The Man Who Created Rock 'N Roll" George "Hound Dog" Lorenz helped kick start the careers for many of the biggest names in rock music from the 1950’s and 60’s. When no one else would play them, George Lorenz took chances with artists like Little Richard, Elvis Presley, Sam Cooke, Clyde Mcfatter, Fats Domino and many, others.George Lorenz's persistence and commitment to introducing the world to great music and not the status quo, helped him to become one of the most influential figures in the music world and in doing so, George accomplished something that no one else was able to do…. he brought Rock N’ Roll to the mainstream.
