Class / Workshop  |  Capturing Burchfield: Plein Air Watercolor Painting at the Center

Saturday, October 19, 2013, 11 am–2 pm

Watercolorists gather your paints and water buckets and surround the Burchfield Penney Art Center. Plein Air painting is a tradition of holding onto a moment of time in an inspiring landscape. Capture your moment stimulated by the grounds surrounding Gwathmey Siegel architecture or include the recent innovative work installed on the front yard. The event will be documented and shared on social media along with a closing toast and display to celebrate the participants’ watercolor creations.

11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. followed by a celebration

1:30-2:00 p.m. in the reception area featuring the watercolors created in the afternoon
