"When I was five I had my first lessons at the Cleveland Museum of Art, and was lucky enough to have had an enthusiastic, encouraging teacher who wore bold, beautiful jewelry.
I guess she made quite an impression on me, since my favorite occupation for the last 16 years or so has been making one of a kind statement necklaces! They are created by working with various elements to discover combinations that make strong designs, arranging them for balance and interest, and constructing pieces that are wearable and remarkable. My palette includes a wide variety of materials–pearls, silver, agate, semi-precious stones–that come together in unexpected yet harmonious ways."
