Making the Connection

Collaboratively presented by The Western New York Martin Luther King, Jr. Commission, Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural National Historic Site, and Burchfield Penney Art Center

This exhibition was at the Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural National Historic Site, 641 Delaware Avenue, Buffalo, NY from January 29 – February 20, 1999. 

Making the Connection brought together work by artists of all colors about the African American experience. Artist and teacher John Baker organized the exhibition and related programs to celebrate African American History Month during February.
