About Face: The Art of Potraiture is an off-site exhibition at the Joy Gallery at New Mt. Ararat Temple of Prayer that was organized by the Burchfield-Penney Art Center at Buffalo State College.  The exhibition features paintings, photographs, and drawings that explore the range of techniques and styles from traditional to expressionist that artists use to depict the human face.  It raises questions of identity, self-image, and representation.  The Joy Gallery is funded by the Joy Family Foundation.
