Early this morning I had a dream that shows the effect of my imaginative mind - that is, of my imagining that I could look and watch my every action. Somehow or other, Jim (Bullard), Bill, Joe and I were at the top of a hill. I had to take our washing somewhere down the road around a bend, but the washing was of such compact sizes that I could put it in my pocket. Jim remarked that someone ought to go down around the bend with me, as it was dangerous, so Joe went along, while I rode on a horse that had sprung from some unknown place. Suddenly we were at the bend, and were passing under a tall thick tree. All at once I disappeared from the horse. Then the dream became especially strange: I didn’t know where I was, - in fact there were two of me. [One] of me had disappeared and the other was looking for me. It is an odd feeling to be looking for oneself, I can tell you. Joe and I looked everywhere for me, up in the tree and all around but could not see a sign of me. Finally I went on the other side of the tree and there was a young man and woman holding me. Bill and Jim now appeared upon the scene and at the sight of us, the “kidnappers” let me go, and instantly I was one once more. The young couple started to run, and we were just throwing rocks at each other when I awoke.
