May 15 1915

     A cool cloudy day.

Evening at Deike’s. Howard & Deike play together – Howard plays Wagner –

For a walk – a marvelous wind has come up - wonderfully weird effects with arclights – huge misshapen leaf shadows dancing up & down over the street – Huge leaves on houses - Trees black bending below the wind ragged sky – Lightning lights up the jagged clouds – booming of thunder – wonderful snakes in the sky – rain finally –
