May 24 – Sat PM – the Richters over for a little visit (They had warned the children that I was worse again- and Mart said that on the way over Tommy said “When grandpa sees me he’ll feels better – because he and I are buddies” -) – They all seemed so concerned- all gave me a hug and kiss when they left – Tommy was last and I said as he hugged me “Are you too big to kiss me” and he grinned & said “no”- when he kissed me on the cheek which was rough with a few days old beard, I said “How did you like my whiskers” – “They feel swell to me, Grandpa” was his reply–
