Clear cool sunny day—
P.M. B—C & I to Zimmerman Rd—to see if we could find orchards in the woods to the west—
The low tract between the woods full of water—warm & steaming—everything so lush and growing so fast & luxuriantly. Reminding me of May days in the Little Beaver Flats.
B & C were inadequately protected & soon had wet feet—we found but one orchard plant, no flowers—
