Oct. 9- Sun.

A.M. – to church, then to “Old Orchard” for dinner – A mild sunny day, the country midway in the autumn coloring.

P.M. – Visit from the Gurneys – Peggy surprised us on our return from the corner, sitting on the back porch we persuaded her to stay through the Gurney’s visit, and afterwards to have supper and watch TV a while –
