Olaf Flub on the Eclectic Electric Improv

LAUGHING LONG – It was 1998 when the Eclectic Improv Company debuted its unscripted zaniness in Bobby Militello’s Tralfamadore Cafe. Now, after holding forth in a monthly show for many years in the nearby Shea’s Smith Theater, the group has reached a milestone.

Its 500th performance comes at 8 p.m. Friday in the Tower Auditorium at Burchfield Penney Art Center, 1300 Elmwood Ave. Four of the founding members – Todd BenzinPeter CumboDon Gervasi and John Freuzer – are still on board.
