Several popular exhibitions are closing in January. Don't miss the opportunity to experience Ben Perrone's Illusion/Delusion (closing Sunday, January 5), Art in Craft Media 2013, Woody Vasulka: Didactic VideoCharles Burchfield: By Design and Charles Burchfield: Evidence of Intent (closing Sunday, January 26). M&T Second Friday
Friday, January 10 from 5:30 pm

Join us for M&T Second Friday featuring happy hour with music by Family Funktion & the Sitar Jams from 5:30-7:30 pm in the Reception Area, a drop-in art making workshop from 5:30-7:30 pm in the Studio Classroom and a presentation about censorship & art by the Termite TV Collective at 7:30 in the Peter and Elizabeth C. Burchfield Penney Book Club Continues for 2014

The Burchfield Penney Book Club meets the first Sunday of each month at 3 pm. New members are always welcome and encouraged to join!

On Sunday, January 5, we are delighted to welcome Mark Goldman, who will discuss his book High Hopes: The Rise and Decline of Buffalo, NY. 

Dr. Francis Kowsky joins us on February 2 for a discussion about his new book The Best Planned City in the World: Olmsted, Vaux and the Buffalo Park System.

Book Club begins with a brief docent led tour of The Center, followed by a discussion of the chosen book. Please contact Joseph Lonzi at lonzijp@buffalostate.edu with any questions. Admission is free to Burchfield Penney members, and general admission applies for "not yet" members.
