Oscar-nominee Robert Forster is at the Burchfield Penney this week!

Academy Award®-nominee Robert Forster, best known for his roles in Medium Cool (1969), Jackie Brown (1997), Heroes (2006-2011), The Descendants (2011) and Breaking Bad (2013), will spend the week of October 27 at the Burchfield Penney Art Center at Buffalo State as artist-in-residence. The actor will host two programs during his stay:

A Conversation with Robert Forster
Monday, October 28 at 7:30 pm

Robert Forster will spend a riveting hour of insider movie and theater talk at the Burchfield Penney as part of the actor's artist residency at the Center. Tickets are $10 and free for Buffalo State students. For info and tickets, visit

Robert Forster in The One Man Show
Saturday, November 2 at 8 pm

Forster will share the work of his residency in a one performance-only production, The One Man Show, on Saturday, November 2 at 8 pm. The show, open only to members of the Burchfield Penney and students, faculty and staff of Buffalo State, is an interpretation of a renowned American cultural icon, presented with the assistance of students from Buffalo State’s theater department. Fifth Anniversary Celebration Launch
November 7 - 10 at the Burchfield Penney

Join us for four days that celebrate five years in the new museum!
