Jozef Bajus
(1958- )
Jozef Bajus is a western New York artist who came to Buffalo from Slovakia to lead the Fiber Arts Program at Buffalo State College. "In 1985 he received his M.F.A. from the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava (Slovakia). He is an award-winning fiber and mixed media artist and his work has been exhibited in Europe, Japan, Korea, the U.S., and Canada. He has taught fiber workshops at the American Craft Museum, Penland School of Art and Craft and Haystack Mountain School of Crafts. Bajus' artworks are in numerous museum collections and private collections in Europe, the U.S., and Canada."
