Rapt in Beauty

On View Friday, September 9, 2011–Sunday, February 19, 2012

Margaret L. Wendt Gallery

Locked into images of the industrial core, Western New York's natural beauty has been overshadowed. Whether the rolling hills of the towns south of Buffalo, the lakeshores of Erie and Ontario, the Niagara river and creeks, or the urban retreats of parks it is nature that made this geographic setting such a draw for settlement. We frequently pay homage to the workers and the factories that made this community, now it is time to give pause and enjoy the rewards of our labors.
