John Quinn, a local painter, was born in Niagara Falls, New York in 1922. He obtained his B.S. degree from the University of Buffalo in 1950, and also attended the University of Michigan from 1959-1960 for graduate work. He has been associated with the Buffalo Society of Artists, Kenmore Art Society, and Niagara Frontier Watercolor Society. His work has been exhibited mainly in the surrounding area, and he has been the recipient of over 40 awards in watercolor, oil, and graphics.
