John Schweikhard

Buffalo native John Schweikhard is a self-taught artist who is known for his oil paintings of urban landscapes, especially industrial, railroad, and harbor scenes. He has worked as a professional photographer, and since 1977 he has owned his own sign painting business located in South Buffalo, New York. He took up painting later in life, focusing on familiar scenes in and around the city.
