Back by popular demand…it’s the return of the Doodle-bots! Charles Burchfield loved doodling, but he probably never doodled like this! Join Melissa Leopard (founder of Tinkering School of Buffalo) for an adventurous day of playing, puttering, dabbling, and doodling. Kids will design and build their own robotic drawing machines and become “cautious daredevils” by learning how to safely use “dangerous” tools and materials, like box-cutters, battery packs, and motors. The day will conclude with a scrimmage of scribbles as the doodle-bots scramble together in a penned-in corral built specifically to contain the felt-tip frenzy. Bring your own lunch.
