Join infringement festival founder Donovan King in a theatrical performance-lecture that highlights the infringement philosophy within the increasingly corporate global Fringe Festival matrix. A probe and examination into how corporate pressure co-opts and harms grassroots culture, it is also a call to action to challenge the 2016 World Fringe Congress, to be held in Montreal in November.
"Now in its 12th year, the Buffalo iNFRINGEMENT Festival (BiF) is a not-profit-driven, non-hierarchical grassroots endeavor bringing together a broad range of eclectic, independent, experimental, and controversial art of all forms. In 2016, nearly 400 groups and individuals will perform in 84 venues, often performing multiple times over the 11 day festival all over the city of Buffalo.
