Jan 7–8–9 – (Tues-Thurs)

Working all three days on painting of Christmas tree with our front room, the middle arch & part of the middle room. I strove to put onto it all the joy of Christmas, of family love, and home life, peace and sweet contentment

Evening of the ninth – to Shea’s Seneca to see “Home Sweet Homicide” and “Topper’s Return.” I had just finished reading the book & a delightful story of three precious children with an irresponsible absentminded mother who wrote mystery stories. A nice friendly spirit in the family.
