A Dream –We had been to the old dream-town over East. Someone said we were to entrain for the town in waking hours. We call Albany. I could see the willow lined Beaver Creek wind northwards. A train came along. I had to cling to the outside of the coach somehow – but how did they expect me to do it? Then we looked – “there is that town now” and indeed it was, [through] a framework of bulky dark trees & houses we saw a group of strange red & yellow houses. They now had us lined up, standing at attention. Next one was a chimpanzee. The officer brought out a Victrola and said he would play us records to improve our taste. I was amazed at the records the chimpanzee wanted played.
