Phoebe bird makes the sun – white morning wistful – Later thru (sic) Park – air full of willow cotton which floats in aimless angles like early Spring insects – rollicking bird songs

A Booming June day – not a cloud –

Later afternoon Daniels & I thru (sic) Little Italy up on bluff – beauty of city – yellow lake –

To room to keep engagement – It is postponed & Dan & I rush back to Lakeview Cemetery & ascend to Garfield monument to watch the afterglow – we decided the world was ours – Sit till dark conversing freely – Home thru (sic) Wade Park –
