Evening to Cinema to see “Mr. Hulot's Holiday – a French picture – Delightfully humorous – In plan and mood it harks back to the sort of film Chaplin & Lloyd did at their best – very little dialogue –mostly pantomime. –
When we came out, Bertha declared she was hungry – so after much indecision we finally headed for Creans where we had an enjoyable snack, and played jazz sounds in the juke –
