Dec. 26- Friday-
Peggy over to spend Christmas vacation with us. How fortunate we are to have a little girl like Peggy who wantsto be with us at a time like this!
P.M- Art & Vi & the children arrive- they had arrived at Sally’s about mid-morning. It was so good seeing them again- And Art brought in our present- the cabinet to house all the Hi-fi equipment- we could hardly believe it when we saw it it [sic] was so beautifully concieved [sic] and carried out- He had finished it with a “blond” semi-transparent that allowed the grain to show through. At the front above three panels covered with a gold threaded cloth to match the wood, & below two doors with chrome circular knobs- Space for records & the amplifier
{Add to Dec. 25- Late PM- Sally & Red & the children came to see us. The boys bringing us presents and so eager and excited about it- Sally & Red gave us a handsome clock for out living room- one of the kind that has the has apparently suspend it mid-air (actually the glass moves on gears with the encircling metal band)-
