LehrerDance, Buffalo’s very own international touring professional dance company, returns to the Burchfield Penney Arts Center for another one of a kind dance event. The company will take the audience on a journey through the gallery, performing their world-renowned repertoire in various locations throughout. Unique spaces become stages and the dancers of LehrerDance become living art.
Jon Lehrer Artistic Director of Lehrer Dance will re-imagine works from the company’s eclectic repertoire to be performed in various galleries of the Burchfield Penney Art Center, a performance that takes its inspiration from the Charles Ives story of discovering places where he could listen to marching bands playing simultaneously in his town square, and the wondrous cluster of sounds he was able to experience.
This performance is free with gallery admission.
